                                              2002: '99 v '02

In the much anticipated, highly billed game between the old men of 1999 versus the young know it alls of 2002, the fans were deeply disappointed a boring, uncompetitive game.  The class of 2002 suffered the first shut out in PBI history, and was unable to move the ball offensively, or stop the experienced veterans of 99’.  Noah Zimmerman accounted for all 4 his team’s touchdowns in winning his second MVP trophy.  The class of 02’ completed one pass, from Gabe Dymond to Adam Herschtal for 15yds.  The lone bright spot for 02’ was man-child Adam Cohen, who used his Sephardic might to run for 50 yds.  The game featured more off-field drama as Adam Herschtal flipped Yoav Tal during an on-field scuffle.  Elliot Totah (98’), playing on the 99’ team, closed lined Judah Bloom after Bloom’s interception ended first half.  The most exciting play occurred as Noah Zimmerman orchestrated a beautiful flea-flicker, hitting a wide open Adam Bloom to close out the scoring.
